At LymeAlert, we are committed to providing high-quality products and a positive customer experience. Due to the nature of our at-home testing products, certain return and refund limitations apply.
Please review the following policy carefully before making a purchase.
Returns
LymeAlert accepts returns of eligible products within 21 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return:
- The product must be unused and unopened.
- The product must be in its original packaging.
- The product must be in resalable condition.
- Proof of purchase or order confirmation is required.
Returns that do not meet these conditions may be rejected.
Non-Returnable Items
For safety, sanitary, and quality-control reasons, the following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Opened or used test kits
- Products with broken seals or tamper evidence
- Health-related or diagnostic products, once opened
- Gift cards
- Downloadable or digital products
- Promotional or clearance items marked “Final Sale.”
We reserve the right to deny returns that do not meet these requirements, or which appear fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with this policy.
Damaged or Defective Products
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at:

- Your order number
- Photos of the product and packaging
- Description of the issue
If approved, we may offer:
- A replacement product
- Store credit
- A refund
Resolution type will be provided at our discretion.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email regarding approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Refunds may be partially or fully denied if returned items do not meet eligibility requirements.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card provider.
- Contact your bank, as processing delays may occur.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect.

Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:
- The product arrived damaged
- The wrong item was shipped
- The return was caused by our error
We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns.
LymeAlert is not responsible for lost return shipments.
Order Cancellations
Orders may only be canceled before shipment.
Once an order has shipped, it is subject to this Return & Refund Policy.
Subscription Orders
If subscription products are offered:
- Customers may cancel future renewals at any time before the next billing cycle.
- Previously processed subscription orders are non-refundable once shipped.
